What makes a good film for you?

By 25. Februar 2019 Blog
I've been pretty quiet here on instagram the last couple of weeks. But we cracked 2000 followers and I just want to say thank you! Feels good to see that you guys like what I'm doing and it pushes me to become a better filmmaker every day. I'm working on several projects that keep me busy at the moment. I'm focussing more on the offline world now, but I will come back soon with hopefully some cool stuff. Also people would like to know more about my workflow and see more behind-the-scenes action. I will work on that, too. My goal is to create more quality content and not just quantity. There's a lot of video content out there and I really think people should care more about what stories they want to tell and not just creating nice looking images. Filmmaking to me is not about RED, Arri, drones, 4K, 8K, 3D, HDR or whatever. It all starts and ends with a great script. Nobody went home from a theatre and said 'That was a bad movie! They should have shot it on Arri.' (Or any other camera company). Ok, that's a lot of text for one instagram post. What makes a good film for you? 📸 @pmaechtlen
